Stop by the stapp one trade show booth #102 from May 19-20, 2022 to experience the intelligent stapp one sensor sole yourself!
The largest society of sport orthopedics in the German-speaking area is holding its 37th annual congress. It is especially focused on innovations in the field of digitalization – a key feature of stapp one sensor soles! Due to their versatile areas of application, they open up new, innovative treatment options but also provide valuable services in research. For example they are often used to validate studies. Therapy and rehab with objective data
stapp one’s principle is simple: the intelligent stapp one sensor sole is inserted into a comfortable shoe and measures the patient’s foot pressure load. The corresponding medical software provides a live biofeedback on a PC as well as objective data on other relevant parameters, such as cadence, stride length, stance phase, etc. Gait assessments can be carried out quickly, cost-effectively and independent of location. But not only physicians and physiotherapists benefit from live biofeedback, but also the patients themselves. Using the visualization, they have the opportunity to correct themselves during training and can therefore develop or relearn a better body feeling. To support patients even more the STAPP ONE Rehab training app was developed.
The data resulting from the assessments and training sessions can be compared throughout the therapy to make progress objectively visible.
Motivation for training at home
After injuries at the lower extremities, doctors or therapists often prescribe partial weight-bearing exercises in the hope that their patients will perform them correctly at home. However patients often experience difficulties following the instructions and are therefore not motivated to train at all. The STAPP ONE Rehab app offers an effective practical solution. For training at home the stapp one sensor soles are inserted into comfortable shoes, and the STAPP ONE Rehab app provides a visual, acoustic and/or haptic live biofeedback to show whether the desired load limit is being maintained. This frame of reference provides patients with safety and confidence – two important components for successful training.
